City of Delray Beach IT Building

City of Delray Beach IT Building

Maintaining business continuity for any municipality is critical to ensure that residents receive the basic services they need and expect. In the seaside community of Delray Beach, located in hurricane prone South Florida, the potential for service interruption is more of a threat than in most cities. It’s not just operating and maintaining the hardware and software used to provide and manage the various services it’s how to protect the people and technology infrastructure in the event of a disaster. Because of our experience and skill in constructing buildings designed to withstand the forces of Mother Nature BSA was selected to construct the City of Delray Beach Information Technology Building. This 4,000 sf  facility located at City Hall houses the IT Department and contains a reinforced vault to protect the City’s servers. The building is equipped with a back-up generator and is designed to keep the City’s computer systems active in the event  of a power loss allowing emergency management services to remain fully operational.
