Delray Beach Running Company

The Delray Beach Running Company is a sports apparel and footwear store located along trendy Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach.  Its goal is to serve the running and fitness community while encompassing a friendly atmosphere where all are welcome. The DBRC is a leading source for footwear, support, state-of-the-art analysis, nutrition, education, training, and a shared passion for living a healthy lifestyle.

As a start-up business, BSA was asked to employ cost effective solutions that would still create an impact and impart a sense of fitness and health.  As a second tenant generation space, BSA took advantage of the locations of the existing mechanical and electrical systems, guiding the architect to design in the most cost effective manner.  BSA expedited the permit process and completed construction in a time frame that allowed the new business to take advantage of the high retail traffic for the full winter season.  The space features an athletic running surface that allows customers to “test drive” their new running shoes.
